Fueled by his artistic bent and eclectic interests, Rassvet founder Tolya Titaev has been instrumental in showcasing the identity of Eastern European skate culture. Blending his interests in luxury fashion, Russian iconography, and non-stop travel, Rassvet’s aesthetics are informed by overlooked locales and untapped potential. A decade into the journey, Titaev’s continually driven by making what’s new, next, and genuine to Rassvet’s vision.
Drawing from the “new dawn” theme prevalent in the brand’s work, the Rassvet Zoom SB Tennis Classic reintroduces a heritage silhouette from the ‘70s to skateboarding. Originally released in its SB iteration in 2005, the Tennis Classic returns with custom details that individualize each pair as they’re skated. Featuring premium smooth leather with Blue Void fade and unstitched medial Swoosh, the midsole is wrapped in a black paint coating that wears away to Aged Sail. Reborn with debossed Rassvet artwork, the sunrise motif extends to the sockliner, woven labels, and heel tab with gradient treatments and embroidered branding.
